Whether it’s a quick getaway a few kilometers away or an entire weekend trip from Sarajevo, there are dozens of fantastic options! From mysterious pyramids to charming wooden mills set in nature, a secret underground bunker, and ancient fortresses, I’m sure that you’ll find an option or two that’ll interest you :)
To make it easier, I’ve divided this blog post into three sections: short, medium, and long day trips. The short day trips from Sarajevo are all less than 100 kilometers (under a 1.5 hour drive); the medium day trips are between 100 to 150 kilometers (under 3 hours); and the longer day trips are 150+ kilometers.
